Found an interesting article over at Mac Rumors. Seems AdMob and advertising company measures the OSes that hit their ads on the web. The numbers may not be 100% accurate but I am guessing they probably trend pretty accurate. I have no idea what the sample size for this company is over a month or how big their foot print is. Apple took over the number 1 spot from Feburary to August. (more…)

This was IMed to me by one of our shyer contributors to this site. Fatty Spins – I fell in Love at the Apple Store. The video was filmed on one of the 5th avenue demo laptops. While he doesn’t have the dance moves of MJ he is able to incorporate an amazing number of Apple products in his song. The funniest thing to me is watching the people behind him. Only a few people even look at him. Enjoy.

iTunes 9.0.1 was released today with some minor bug fixes. Per Apple’s release notes, it fixes bugs browsing the iTunes Store, performance issues where iTunes becomes unresponsive, problems when syncing Podcasts in play lists with iPhone or iPod, fixes the bug where iTunes unexpectedly quits, improves application syncing with iPhone and iPod Touch. The bug fix that raised my eyebrow is the bug in regards to the iTunes Mini Player. (more…)

It is technology, it is touch but no I am not going to do an actual review. This has apparently been all over the place, major networks and the like, but I have never heard about this until I saw an article linked to the Broward-Post. They have a fake cigarette that glows red, gives you “smoke” to breath out and has special filters that will give you nicotine. These can be “Smoked” anywhere even in places smoking is banned. Pretty crazy I wonder how long it will be until I see one. If you have actually run across this in real life please leave a comment. (more…)
I am not sure how many of you were disappointed they didn’t announce an iMac bump and price drop at the Jazz, err I mean Rock and Roll, Event. I wasn’t surprised but I did really want a small bump and a price drop would have been nice. There were a few rumors floating around to this effect but it went they way of the camera in the touch. We may have some hope again.

What can I say about the Incipio Feather other than it’s made of pure awesomeness. Really, they’ve corned the market on awesomeness when it comes to making a lightweight, hard plastic case that looks, and feels good. Nothing beats the feel of a naked iPhone, but as much as we all want to tote around the iPhone in it’s birthday suit (more…)

Not sure how many of you used the green + button on iTunes to toggle between the mini player and a window that is easy to work with music. Personally I used it all the time. It is nice to have the mini player at the top of all of my spaces then when I wanted to change something just pop the + make the change and pop the + again. iTunes 9 has changed to a normal window function with the + however. This now will just swap between two different sizes of window but will not minimize down to the mini player size.
